Manamz personally known as Manamela Mokobi is a Disc Jockey who was born in Diepkloof Soweto (Johannesburg) raised in Vosloorus (Ekurhuleni), who's love for music began in the early stages of his upbringing in the East Rand where he pursued his passion of being a DJ in 2010. His craft of being a DJ spun from different genres including Deep House which led to an intrest in exploring different types of subgenres in the dance music space. Produced Mashups and Remixes of well known records of the Amapiano subgenre in the Yanos Series. The birth of Lockdown Freedom Sessions was influenced by an unfortunate period of the COVID 19 pandemic, Lockdown Freedom Sessions consists of various Live mixes & compilations arranged and mixed by MANAMZ namely Yanos (Amapiano) & Back 2 Basics (Deep House) series, alongside are other Tributes and Appreciation mixes dedicated to various Artists,producers,djs and vocalists. Hence the phrase "KEEP IT LOCKED" became the slogan of Lockdown Freedom Sessions to the emancipation & raising awarenes on Mental Health during a difficult time to "keep it locked" in focusing on positivity amongst negativity through the universal language of Music
