Born in Pretoria, Benji was groomed into a competent deep house DJ that’s very competent in the deep house field. Having to have played a long side deep house giants like Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, Terrance, Black Coffee juts to name a few has sharpened his skills exceedingly.

Since having to move to Johannesburg in 2006, he is learned to play other different types of music such as: Commercial house, Amapiano, & Chill Out Lounge. He has played in different high-end clubs around Johannesburg such as Taboo, Niche, Sway, Rooftop Lounge, Meat Lounge & Cotton Lounge,Gemelli, SOTA, Pitso's (CPT) just to state a few, and has recently played at Advertising Week Africa, where the international comedian, actor and entrepreneur, Kevin Hart was one of the Main Speaker's. He is also a previous resident DJ at Cappello in Fourways formally known as “CappelloBuzz”.

He’s also played a long side well known hip Hop DJs such as Sizwe Dlhomo, Major League DJs, DJ Fanatic, DJ Dimplez and DJ Speedsta to name a few.

Benji also has had radio exposure under the management and guidance of Tebogo “Pro-Verb” Tekisho from Metro FM, where he was an intern on the Drive Time show, which was hosted by Glen Lewis.

He’s exceptional skill of knowing which song, and how to mix it always has crowds in awe while they are dancing their souls away.
Benji is a self-taught DJ who started DJing in high school at the events that were hosted there. His passion for music is what drove him into wanting to learn how to DJ. Since then he has acquired many skills in which he’s always looking to refine, because he believes there’s always room for improvement and if you don’t improve you don’t grow.

Have being exposed to the different environments of Pretoria and Johannesburg has moulded him into a formidable versatile DJ. The three principles that Benji lives by are: LOVE, LIGHT & MUSIC.
