Been Playing For: 30 years
Biog: Coming from an older relative of a Northern Soul DJ, ive been playing on decks from as far back as 86
In 1991 I played a few sets on Yorks second pirate radio station powerFM, which went on to be a major power in Yorkshire pirate radio, that in its time managed to build up a listening audience of over 4000 listeners in the N Yorkshire area.

Power FM was involved with doing all the advertising For Mike Morrisons event "Galactica" July 3rd 92 on York Knavesmire...still the biggest event in N Yorkshire till this day.
I left DJ'ing 93 to start a family life, and settle down with my then wife...and my beautiful daughter..Yasmin.
Could not stand the quiet life for to long, and was back DJing by 95, residenting at the York arts center, playing at an old skool night that ran for two years, before giving way to the ever growing Techno crowd in York Played many other nights through local area for the next year.
1998 started a night called "Cut the cheese" A night my friend and I started in Selby....the idea of the night was to cut out all the cheese nights that got played in the area, an to give Selby back an underground scene it had lost since "the mad house" (the upstairs/downstairs club) which had closed its doors when the owners went on to start the now very popular "diztuctions" in Howden near Hull.
Whilst in London, I had the lucky fluke of working alongside a guy at work, who use to go to school with Trevor Fung (the legend of shoom)
After meeting him at my friend’s 40th birthday party where I took the decks down to play a set; I got the chance to meet Trevor. Impressed (so he says) with my set, he invited me to play at "The Bug Bar" Brixton, ended up being a resident there from 99 -2000.
Joined the OSA in 2001, and played my first set for them at the Ska club, for doolz's old skool night. From there I then met up with Nathan, Timo Garcia and Matt "Freestyler" Cantor, and played many slots for the (IMO) best old skool night in London "Come Together".
I played on and off for them through 2001 - 2003 before moving back to York in late 2003.
Moving back to York, I was lucky to meet up with a crew of young lads, who where committed to bringing the old pirate radio vibe back to the York airwaves with the station FreakFM later to become Equinox 107.....Great times, and nice to be back on a real pirate station using transmitters and link systems.
I then stated my own night "Ltd Addiction" which has know been running for a year and a half, so still very much in its infancy at the moment but we are working on it lol
Joined the cranky radio crew in 2007, and we now provide the best sound system in York, and play at different nights throughout the York area almost every weekend. We have started our own Radio station, and in the process of forming our own record label "WC Industries"
That’s it for now....the future is yet to come lol
