Detailed report

Björn Friebe, born in Darmstadt in 1980, put the first needle on vinyl in 1996.
He has also been known under the stage name Oracle since 1998, and his style was something special from the start.
He comes from the first techno generation and a fixed genre was always alien to him.
Oracle has always been very close to the "progressive", clear sounds that are rhythm-oriented. In the surroundings of psytrance you can clearly assign him to „off-beat“.
Basically he is genre free and claims for itself: “In every genre there is good music both in hip hop and in pop and and so on, I play what has a groove. In my eyes, that's the art of a “DJ”, but I think the term is not too apt. A DJ is someone who entertains people. An electronic disc jockey has the opportunity to be creative and work in a completely different way. More applicable is Juggler or "Trackler" or "Jugglack";).
Put simply, he stands for powerful and driving progressive psychedelic-trance.

As a trained event technician, Björn also has the necessary know-how to act behind the scenes.

In 2001
he organized his first own event. The high number of visitors and the very good feedback from the open air "Teiwaz" allowed us to enjoy some other projects. Then he founded "Miracle Events" and organized parties with his long-time DJ colleague and friend Martin West, such as the Evolution series in 2004, cockchafer collecting in 2005 and 2006, to name just a few.

In 2004
For the first time he knocked his sound out of the trance travelers' ears and made the island of Koh Phangan shake with his sound at the legendary Fullmoon Party and the Blackmoon parties in Thailand. Since then he has been there around Christmas time for the following years and let off steam.

In 2008
Dj Orakel toured Australia for half a year and presented the AUSTRALIENS with his crisp sound.

In 2011
After a long break from organizing, he founded the project "Blue-Vision" to heat up the party scene in the Rhine-Main area with the almost forgotten "Off-Beat" or also known as "Progressive Psytrance".
Through his completed training and experience as an event technician, he knows what is technically possible and his parties have become an audio-visual experience.
His daughter was born in that year and his second mainstay was self-employment in the field of show lighting.

In 2016
he has withdrawn a little to work on his lighting-design project.

Together with many international great Artists, DJ Orakel has conjured the masses into trance on the stages of the psytrance scene worldwide.

Ausführlicher Bericht

Björn Friebe geboren 1980 in Darmstadt legte die erste Nadel auf das Vinyl 1996.
Seit 1998 kennt man ihn auch unter dem Künstlername Orakel, sein Style war von Anfang an etwas besonderes.

Aus der ersten Techno-Generation entsprungen war ihm ein festes Genre immer fremd.
Orakel hat dem „progressive“ immer sehr nahe gestanden, klare Sounds die Rhythmus orientiert sind.
In dem Bereich des Psytrance kann man ihn ganz klar dem „Off-Beat“ zuordnen.
Prinzipiell ist er aber Genre frei.
Er behauptet von sich selbst: „in jedem Genre gibt es gute Musik sowohl im Hip Hop als auch im Pop und so weiter, ich spiele was grooved". In meinen Augen besteht ja darin die Kunst eines „DJ“, allerdings finde ich den Begriff nicht zu treffend. Ein DJ ist jemand der die Leute unterhält. Ein Discjockey im elektronischen Bereich kann ganz anders arbeiten und ist erschaffend. Zutreffender ist Jongleur oder „Trackleur“ oder „Jonglack“ ;).
Einfach ausgedrückt, steht er für kraftvollen und treibenden progressiven Psychedelic-Trance.

Als ausgebildeter Veranstaltungstechniker (2007) verfügt Björn auch über das notwendige Knowhow um hinter den Kulissen zu agieren.

2001
hat er seine erste eigene Veranstaltung organisiert. Die hohe Besucherzahl und das sehr gute feedback des open Airs "Teiwaz", liesen uns in den Genuß einiger weiteren Projekte kommen. Danach gründete er "Miracle-Events" und veranstaltete Partys mit seinem langjährigen DJ-Kollegen und Freund Martin West, wie die Evolution-Reihe 2004, Maikäfersammeln 2005 und 2006, um nur einige zu nennen.

2004
hat er erstmals den Trance-Travellern sein Sound um die Ohren gehauen und in Thailand auf der legendären Fullmoon-Party und den Blackmoon partys die Insel Koh Phangan mit seinem Sound zum beben gebracht. Seit dem war er die folgenden Jahre um die Weihnachtszeit dort und tobte sich aus.

2008
tourte Dj Orakel ein halbes Jahr durch Australien und präsentierte den AustrALIENS seinen knackigen Sound.

2011
gründete er nach langer Pause des Veranstaltens das Projekt "Blue-Vision" um der Partyszene im Rhein-Main Gebiet mit dem fast vergessenen "Off-Beat" oder auch bekannt als "Progressive-Psytrance" einzuheizen.
Durch seine mittlerweile abgeschlossene Ausbildung und Erfahrungen als Veranstaltungstechniker weis er was technisch möglich ist und seine Partys wurden zu einem Audio-Visuellen Erlebnis.
In diesem Jahr ist auch seine Tochter geboren und sein zweites Standbein war die Selbstständigkeit im Bereich des Showlichts.

2016
hat er sich etwas zurück gezogen um an seinem Lichtdesign-Projekt zu arbeiten.

Mit vielen Internationalen Größen zusammen, hat DJ Orakel weltweit auf den Bühnen der Psytrance-Szene die Massen in Trance gezaubert.
