Music and sounds of Just-a-Session

Just a Session (JAS) started out in 2016 by two good friends Koketso Lefifi and Tiisetso Mogoloane with the aim of creating a space for those with an open ear and mind for good music. JAS taps into niche music from all over the world. The two as a DJ outfit unearth music from the past and present to create an atmosphere that many deem spiritual. Both heavily influenced by the likes of Joe Claussell, Ron Trent, Trinidadiandeep, Louie Vega, Kerri Chandler to name a few.

The duo has hosted a number of hangouts right in their yards and each session and year sees the number of attendees increasing, signalling a hunger for the 'alternative' in the township of Ga-Rankuwa where a lot of mainstream music fills the local chill spaces.

More from the JAS outfit is yet to come, we believe in humble beginnings and the cause is well understood.
