Interference Radio was conceptualized with underground raves and pirate radio stations in mind by bringing an old-school vibe to the newer concept of online music events. Our goal is to bring the warehouse vibes to your house if you cannot attend events in person. The channel utilizes minimal promotional techniques to alert subscribers, followers and viewers of their upcoming guest DJs and shows. Social media flyers act as a “party line” with minimal information as to what to expect for that weekend’s shows. The original intent of the channel was to be cryptic, and to not share much information about the DJs who would broadcast. Viewers of the channel would have to pay attention to Twitch notifications and social media posts to see when a DJ would be playing. After thoughtful reconsideration, the curators of the channel decided it was in their best interest to share more info about the talent.
Interference Radio hosts 4 hour shows every Friday with our resident DJs, and has special events Saturdays featuring guest DJs.
