Goodnight to The Urban Daydreams Radioshow...

This weekend my radio family is airing my final Urban Daydreams radioshow.

When I started doing Urban Daydreams on my page several years ago, it was meant to be shows of more upbeat Urban Contemporary Jazz than others I was doing. After about a year I was asked by a station if I could turn it into a weekly radioshow. Now almost 200 episodes in, Daydreams airs on several stations and is heard by thousands of people every week. But it’s not really what Daydreams started off to be.

Nowadays it’s become a showcase for the newest in Smooth Jazz by major & independent artists. I don’t think there’s another show on radio that plays as much new music as we share each week. So I’ve decided to change the name of our radio visits starting this week to The Smooth Jazz Kitchen. Not much will change on the show itself, but it’s a much better name for me and what I do. I really like the idea and look forward to the change.

But I don’t plan of letting Urban Daydreams go away forever. Soon they’re going to be back on my pages as I originally envisioned them giving my listeners even more opportunities to share this great music with me. I hope you like what you hear and will join me in The Kitchen every week. Love and peace always my friends from your Chef…
