"DJ Does It Better"
Ciao,
My name is Alex Molla.

Throughout my "Artistic" journey, I've accumulated diverse experiences and qualifications:
I'm a DJ, Music Programmer, Music Journalist, and Publicist. I specialize in Wedding Music Planning, and I've been a Radio Speaker and Remixer for renowned Italian and international artists, among other roles.

I embarked on my DJ career a few decades ago. Initially immersed in "Disco Music," I've since delved into the rich tapestry of musical history, spanning from Black to House Music, through Urban, Rock, and RnB genres. My personal musical favorites include Dance '80 from the UK and USA (with Depeche Mode as a prime example), RnB/Hip Hop, and House Music. I take pride in my versatility, comfortably navigating across various musical genres, including classical, during my performances, which range from the 50s to 70s disco music, Latin, and up to Progressive House.

I began learning the DJ craft alongside seasoned industry "veterans" when I was still a minor, an experience that required resilience and determination. While knowledge certainly helps, it's the hands-on experience and sheer dedication that truly count.

My passion, dedication, unwavering commitment, and countless hours spent behind the turntables, meticulously mixing vinyl to achieve the perfect sound, have paved the way for me to play in some of the finest "Italian Clubs." These include "Rolling Stone," "Hollywood," "Shocking," "Ca Bianca," "General Warehouses," "De Sade," "Alcatraz," "Village of Lost Time/Karma," "Martini Terrace," "Guild," "Villa of the Roses," “Club Zero,” "Open House," "Havana Café," "Paparazzi," "Charlie Brown," "Albert's Club," to name just a few.

Over time, I've expanded my horizons and offered my musical expertise in Europe as a "Guest DJ." Some memorable international appearances include "The Roof Gardens" (UK), "Pigalle" (France), "La Boca" (Poland), "Le Festival Plage" (Nice), and Nyx Lugano.

Running parallel to my DJ career, I ventured into radio, initially as an "Audio Technician" and later as a "Music Programmer." I also briefly took on the role of a "Radio Speaker" alongside the young Gianluca Gazzoli, resulting in enjoyable experiences. I've worked with various radio stations, starting with a prominent local station in northern Italy, "Primarete/NBC Milano," and progressing to renowned Italian networks such as "Radio Italia S.M.I.," "RTL 102.5," "Italia Network," "Play Radio/Virgin Radio," and "Radio Number One." As the "Head of Music," I collaborated with Caterina Caselli and Filippo Sugar at the "Sugar Music" record company, servicing two local stations, "Radio Milano Uno" and "Radio Roma Uno," one in Milan and the other in Rome.

In addition to my DJing, radio, and remixing endeavors, I've had the privilege of participating as a "Guest DJ" in major national and international events. Some noteworthy projects from my artistic journey include:

Inaugurating the "Gala" evening for the "GP Formula 1" in Monza in 2006.
Releasing my first and only single as "Virginalex" in 2009, titled "Sexual Bizarre," available on Beatport, iTunes, and physical CD in the compilation "Numberone Party."
Opening for Gianluca Grignani's concert at the "Stadio Brianteo" in Monza in 2012, in collaboration with Sony Music.
Performing at "Expo 2015" at the "American Food 2.0" stand, which hosted Michelle Obama, the wife of the American President, in 2015.
Entertaining 150,000 people at "Pride Milano" in 2014 and 2015, an indescribable experience.
Creating official remixes, together with a talented team, for both Italian and foreign artists, including Paola and Chiara, Erika, Nek, Alexandra Stan, Inna, Daddy Yankee, and Dj Antoine, available on top music platforms.
Compiling four double dance compilations titled "Numberone Party" between 2012 and 2015.
Receiving a nomination at the "Italian Dance Music Awards" in the "Best Remix" category for the single "We Wanna" by Alexandra Stan & Inna ft. Daddy Yankee in 2016, an unforgettable experience.
Producing the official remix for DJ Antoine's summer hit single "Loved me once" in 2019.
Commencing my collaboration with "Q Magazine" in 2019, where I established the musical section "Q Sound" in agreement with the newspaper's Director. Here, I conducted interviews with numerous national and international artists, including Nek, Cesare Cremonini, Marco Mengoni, Paola Iezzi, Bob Sinclar, Ed Sheeran, and many others. I also provided news and music previews for major artists such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Adele, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Pink, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Drake, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, David Bowie, Jared Leto, and many more.
Continuing to review news, not only of artists but also in the realms of "Dance/Black/Funky/House" music, which you can find on my Alex Molla website in the dedicated "Musical News" section, as well as on all my social media platforms.
In 2022, I initiated collaborations with several European radio stations for major events while persistently delivering my signature "DJ Sets." My passion endures, professionalism remains unwavering, and the quest for perpetual learning is a constant source of inspiration. I cherish the privilege of immersing myself in music daily, meticulously selecting tracks for my DJ Sets after extensive analysis and continuous listening to new records. I fearlessly experiment with new music during my performances, aiming to better connect with people and enhance my craft.

Every day brings new opportunities for learning from both seasoned and budding talents across industries, perpetuating a lifelong journey of growth. Culture consistently surprises me, providing strength and unwavering motivation to continue this beautiful, infinite journey.

"Stay tuned."
