Gustavo Almanza a.k.a GUSA , nació en la Ciudad de Córdoba en el año 1979. Proveniente de una familia de clase media compuesto por 4 personas, donde su hermana mayor, 4 años más grande, fue quien influyo musicalmente en él. Fue así como empezó a escuchar música extranjera por grandes intérpretes como Phil Collins, Elton John, Bon Jovi, Guns & Roses, INXS, Depeche Mode, Madonna, Rod Steward, The Cure, Prodigy, Madonna, Nirvana, Lenny Kravitz y muchos otros artistas más.
También fué influenciado fuertemente por artistas nacionales como la legendaria banda de Soda Stereo, puro Rock & Pop.
Se acostumbro a ver programas de Tv como Rock & Pepsi y a grabarlos en VHS para así tener su propia videoteca. Más tarde aparecerán otros programas de Tv como MTV o MUCH MUSIC. Es allí donde descubre el MUCH DANCE y empieza a involucrarse en la música electrónica atraído por artistas nacionales como Dj Dero - Aldo Haydar y Jp Pfirter.
Comenzó a frecuentar distintas disquerías para ver lo que encontraba como así también a comprar algunas revistas como la revista D-MODE y sus discos compilados D-MODE REMIX.
Tiempo mas tarde, ya en sus salidas nocturnas por el under queda deslumbrado con el manejo de las bandejas al verla a la Dj Carla Tintore en el mitico Club Hangar 18 de la Ciudad de Córdoba. A partir de allí comienza sus ganas de aprender el manejo de todo el equipo, consigue bandejas giradiscos, una compactera rack y un mixer de 3 canales que conserva hasta el día de hoy. Emprende un largo camino solo, donde aprende no solo diferentes cuestiones técnicas en cuanto a su setup sino también al uso de distintos softwares usando la computadora como herramientas de trabajo, sin dejar de practicar con sus propios equipos, y fundamentalmente escuchando y buscando mucha música. Paso por varios estilos, Ambient & Chill, Minimal, Deep, House, Techno y Progressive House, siendo este último su favorito.

En sus sets se pueden sentir diferentes matices sonoros de los diferentes estilos que han ido marcando su camino, dando como resultado final una atmósfera bien deep, melódica, groove y ecléctica.

Gustavo Almanza a.k.a GUSA, was born in the city of Córdoba in 1979. He came from a middle-class family of 4 people, where his older sister, 4 years older, was the one who influenced him musically. Some time later, already on his night outings in the underground, he is dazzled by the handling of the trays when he sees Dj Carla Tintore at the mythical Club Hangar 18 in the City of Córdoba. From there he begins his desire to learn how to handle all the equipment, he gets turntables, a compact rack and a 3-channel mixer that he keeps to this day. He undertakes a long journey alone, where he learns not only different technical issues regarding his setup but also the use of different software using the computer as work tools, without stopping practicing with his own equipment, and fundamentally listening and searching for a lot of music. He went through various styles, Ambient & Chill, Minimal, Deep, House, Techno and Progressive House, the latter being his favorite.

In his sets you can feel different sound nuances of the different styles that have been marking his path, resulting in a very deep, melodic, groove and eclectic atmosphere.
