He then left the scene for a while because his car was stolen with all his music which he collected from the beginning of his Djing career. But as the say, When the music calls you back you have to listen and answer the call. DA Makhathini is now back and back with a BIG BANG! Killing and lighting up the dance floor’s with his signature sound of a heavy baseline, Acoustic and Abstract sounds accompanied by a sophisticated drum pattern. He’s influenced by the likes of Charles Webster, China, Kat La Kat, Troyder,Don and Vinny Da Vinci to name a few. Since his return to the game he has managed to play alongside those who have influenced him and he has pushed boundaries to achieve his goals. With the entire Soweto Deep house community behind him DA Makhathini is surely destined to leave a mark in the music and entertainment industry, and has his eyes set to be one of the greatest to ever do it!
